MoPH Minister Visits Drug Addiction Rehabilitation Hospital in Herat

Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, the Minister of Public Health of the IEA, visited the Drug Addiction Rehabilitation Hospital as part of his official visit to Herat Province.

Accompanied by his delegation and Mawlawi Mohammad Talib Shahid, Director of Public Health of Herat Province, the Minister of Public Health reviewed various sections of the hospital and closely assessed the drug addiction rehabilitation process, available facilities, and the quality of services provided to patients. He also urged healthcare workers to treat patients with care, dignity, and respect.

The Minister emphasized that providing treatment and healthcare services to people with drug addiction is a responsibility of the MoPH. He also instructed the relevant officials to take the necessary measures to improve the quality of services and ensure that patients’ needs are adequately met.
