Ministry of Public Health Holds 14th Leadership Board Meeting to Advance Healthcare Initiatives

The Ministry of Public Health convened its fourteenth Leadership Board meeting under the chairmanship of His Excellency Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, Minister of Public Health. Attendees included deputy ministers, the Chief of Staff, directors, and senior advisors.
Discussions focused on key priorities: improving healthcare quality, launching a new oncology hospital, treating children with heart conditions, enhancing inter-agency coordination, expanding services, resolving systemic challenges, managing resources efficiently, and ensuring responsible budget spending.
Additional topics included the procurement and delivery of medical equipment, and the decision to purchase pharmaceuticals from certified domestic and international producers for the 1404 fiscal year. The introduction of service fees at Bamyan Provincial Hospital was also addressed.
To ensure timely implementation, H.E. Minister Jalali established technical committees to advance these initiatives in line with ministry standards and deadlines.
Deputy ministers and directors also presented progress reports on tasks from the previous session. The meeting stressed the importance of meeting set deadlines and maintaining accountability in execution.
