Two-Day Training on Care for Newborns with Congenital Anomalies Conducted for 36 Healthcare Workers in Panjshir Province

A two-day training program on the care of newborns with congenital anomalies was held for 36 healthcare workers from health facilities across Panjshir Province.

The training was organized by the Panjshir Public Health Directorate in collaboration with the implementing partner, MOVE, to strengthen the capacity of healthcare workers and improve the quality of treatment services. Throughout the program, participants received training on the identification, care, and management of congenital anomalies in newborns.

Officials from the Panjshir Public Health Directorate emphasized the importance of building the capacity of healthcare workers to deliver quality healthcare services, stating that training programs such as this are essential for improving service quality and enhancing newborn health outcomes.
