Three-Day Training on Digitalization of the Medicine and Health Products Import System Held for International Organizations

The three-day training program was organized by the Afghanistan Food and Drug Authority (AFDA) of the Ministry of Public Health, in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), and attended by 45 representatives from international organizations. The training was held at the AFDA conference hall.

At the opening ceremony, Mawlawi Abdul Basir Qanih, Director General of Medicines and Health Products Regulation, welcomed the participants and thanked the WHO for its support in organizing the program. He also highlighted the digital services and facilities introduced by the AFDA, emphasizing the importance and benefits of digitalizing these services.

Furthermore, Nazir Mohammad Pouya, Capacity Building Specialist at the AFDA, explained the objectives of the program, noting that 19 training programs have been conducted since the beginning of 1405, benefiting 823 employees and relevant stakeholders. He added that training programs for staff at both the central and provincial levels will continue until the end of 1405.
