Regional and district hospitals in Nangarhar Province received a donation of medicines and medical equipment worth approximately $235,000

The assistance was provided by UNICEF and included ultrasound machines, baby warmers for newborn care, as well as diarrhea treatment and maternity kits.

Mawlawi Aminullah Sharif, Director of Public Health in Nangarhar Province, thanked UNICEF for its support and directed the relevant officials to deliver the equipment to the designated hospitals and health facilities to ensure that essential healthcare services are delivered to patients in a timely manner.
