Nangarhar Province: Seven Hospitals Benefit from $275,000 Medical Equipment Donation

In Nangarhar province, seven hospitals have received a generous donation totaling $275,000 in medical supplies and equipment. This initiative, spearheaded by the Ministry of Public Health with the invaluable financial support from the regional office of the World Health Organization, aims to bolster healthcare services in the region.

Under the guidance of the Department of Public Health and with the financial backing from the World Health Organization's regional office, Fatemeh Al-Zahra Hospital, the central teaching hospital, Kama Hospital, Rodat Hospital, the hospital catering to returnees, and the emergency services hospital have been the recipients of this much-needed donation.

Included in the donation are ultrasound machines, digital X-ray machines, refrigerators for laboratory material storage, surgical kits, and various other medical supplies. These essential resources are anticipated to significantly enhance the quality of healthcare services provided to the residents of Nangarhar province, ensuring access to standardized medical care for all citizens.
