MoPH Inspections Remove Expired Medicines and Close Nine Pharmacies in Kabul

Officials from the Monitoring and Inspection Department of the Ministry of Public Health’s Food and Drug Authority conducted inspections of a number of pharmacies in the Char Asiab District and the 20th District of Kabul Province.

As a result of the inspections, 72 items of expired and substandard GSK medicines were collected and transferred to a designated location for disposal. In addition, nine pharmacies were closed for violating health laws and regulations.
