His Excellency, Dr. Qalandar Ebad, the Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, convened a meeting with Zainul Abideen, the governor of Nuristan Province, to deliberate on the delivery of healthcare services in the region.

 

During this session, Governor Abideen articulated the concerns and challenges confronting both the populace and healthcare practitioners in the province. Assurances were extended by His excellency minister Ebad to address these challenges and alleviate the concerns raised.

 

His Excellency, Minister Ebad, underscored, "Ensuring the provision of high-quality healthcare services to remote and previously underserved regions and villages across the nation remains one of our paramount priorities." In alignment with this commitment, notable attention has been recently directed towards Nuristan Province, encompassing initiatives such as the establishment of a new health center and the imminent completion of renovations to the provincial hospital in the forthcoming year. These endeavors aim to furnish primary healthcare services to the populace.
