Air Pollution Control Inspections Conducted in Kabul to Protect Public Health

Officials from the Air Pollution Control Department of the Environmental Health Directorate of the Ministry of Public Health carried out inspections of various facilities in Kabul city to help prevent respiratory diseases and improve air quality.

During the inspection, relevant checklists were completed, and commitments were obtained from the facility owners that they would not operate without smoke purification systems in the future.

In addition, health messages, awareness leaflets, and air pollution reduction guidelines were explained and distributed to facility owners so they can align their activities with the Ministry of Public Health standards.
