Afghanistan’s Public Health Minister Visits Leading Cardiac Hospitals in India

Afghanistan’s Minister of Public Health, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, visited Max Super Speciality Hospital and Metro Heart Institute in India, accompanied by the Indian Embassy’s Chargé d’Affaires to Afghanistan, Karan Yadav.

He toured key departments to learn from their expertise and explore ways to strengthen cardiac services in Afghanistan.

Afghanistan has recently launched public-sector cardiac surgery and is working to expand services, install modern radiology equipment, and introduce advanced treatment methods.
