15 Tons of Expired and Substandard Medicines Disposed of in Faryab Province

To protect public health and prevent the distribution of substandard medicines in the market, officials from the Monitoring and Inspection Department of the Faryab Provincial Public Health Directorate collected 948 types of expired and substandard medicines, weighing a total of 15 tons, from the provincial capital and districts over the past two years. The medicines were subsequently disposed of in the presence of relevant authorities.
