Badghis Conducts Interpersonal Communication Training to Strengthen Immunization Services
The Badghis Provincial Public Health Directorate, with the support of the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI), conducted a series of training workshops under the title “Interpersonal Communication Skills in Immunization.”
These workshops were held in three training rounds, bringing together a total of 75 participants, including clinic managers, vaccinators, and midwives from health centers and the provincial hospital. All participants successfully completed the training.
During the workshops, participants were equipped with key principles of effective communication, appropriate patient interaction, strategies for managing vaccination-related rumors, and practical approaches to delivering effective public awareness.
It is worth noting that the implementation of these workshops is considered a significant step toward improving the quality of immunization services and strengthening communication between healthcare workers and the community.
