Minister of Public Health Inaugurates Newly Constructed Basic Health Center in Kunar’s Tisha Region
During an official visit to Kunar Province, Afghanistan’s Minister of Public Health, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, inaugurated a newly built Basic Health Center in the Tisha region. The facility was completed at a cost of 5 million Afghanis.
The project was financed by local resident Dr. Abdul Rahman Zamani. H.E. Jalali had previously laid the foundation stone, and the center was completed swiftly, allowing it to begin offering essential health services.
Speaking at the ceremony, H.E. Jalali said the new center is expected to deliver meaningful improvements in healthcare access for the surrounding communities. He reiterated the ministry’s commitment to expanding equitable and accessible health services nationwide, stressing that all necessary efforts will be made to meet public needs.
