MoPH Holds “Hospital Management” Training to Strengthen Hospital Management Capacity
The Ministry of Public Health conducted the first phase of a six-day training course entitled “Hospital Management” to strengthen hospital management capacity.
The training course was attended by directors, medical directors, department heads and a number of other management officials from central hospitals. The training aimed to enhance the capacity of hospital management staff, strengthen management practices and improve the quality of healthcare services. Participants expressed their satisfaction with the training and described such training courses and academic seminars as useful in strengthening managerial capacity and improving the quality of healthcare services.
Dr. Aminullah Momand, Director of Specialized and Tertiary Hospitals of the MoPH, called on all participants to apply the knowledge and skills gained during the training in their respective hospitals and make effective use of them to improve patient care, healthcare management and other related areas, so that timely, standardized and quality healthcare services can be provided to the people.
