MoPH Inspection Delegation Assesses Health Centers in Herat’s Rabat-e-Sangi and Torghundi

During a visit to Herat Province, Mawlawi Mahmoodullah Zahid, Director of Health Law Enforcement and Inspection of the Ministry of Public Health, accompanied by a technical delegation, conducted inspection visits to the Rabat-e-Sangi District Comprehensive Health Center (CHC) and the Torghundi CHC+.

During the inspections, the quality of healthcare services, staff performance, the availability and management of medicines and medical equipment, laboratory and vaccination services, hygiene standards, maternal and child healthcare, the reporting system, hospital cleanliness, and infection prevention and control (IPC) measures were assessed in line with the Ministry of Public Health’s standards. Emphasis was placed on improving service quality, ensuring effective use of available resources, and delivering quality, standard healthcare services to patients.

The delegation also met with patients and healthcare workers, listened to their views and recommendations on service quality, staff performance, and existing challenges, and emphasized accountability, transparency, and respect for patients' rights.
