Minister of Public Health Inaugurates New Operation Theatre at Noor Specialized Eye Treatment Hospital in Herat

As part of his official visit to Herat province, the Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, H.E. Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, visited the newly built Noor Specialized Eye Treatment Hospital.

During the visit, which was attended by the Governor of Herat, Noor Ahmad Islam Jar, along with a delegation from the Ministry of Public Health, the Minister officially inaugurated a newly constructed operation theatre and observed the extensive rehabilitation work completed at the hospital.

The newly equipped operation theatre, rebuilt to modern standards, is expected to significantly increase the hospital’s capacity to treat a greater number of patients.

The Minister highlighted that the purpose of his visit was to assess the quality of specialized ophthalmology services available to residents of Herat and to explore opportunities for further expansion and enhancement of these medical services.
