Hafiz Dr. Naeemullah Ayoubi Meets Bangladesh Drug Authority Chief to Strengthen Health Cooperation

During an official visit to Bangladesh, Hafiz Dr. Naeemullah Ayoubi, Director General of Pharmaceutical and Health Products Regulation of the Ministry of Public Health of the IEA, along with his technical team, met with Mr. Mohammad Alamgir Hossain, Director General of Bangladesh’s Directorate General of Drug Administration.

Both sides exchanged views on key issues related to the regulation, oversight, and development of the medicines and health products sector. They also held detailed discussions on facilitating the registration process for medicines and health products in Afghanistan, as well as benefiting from Bangladesh’s practical experience in this field.

In addition, both sides stressed the importance of technical cooperation, sharing professional experience, and strengthening bilateral relations in the health sector. They described these efforts as key to improving the quality of healthcare services and enhancing the regulatory systems of both countries.
