Deputy Minister of Public Health Meets Private Health Centers to Support Earthquake Victims in Nangarhar

Deputy Minister of Health Services, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, from the Ministry of Public Health, paid an official visit to Nangarhar province, where he met with officials from private sector health centers.
The meeting focused on assisting the victims of the recent earthquake. The Deputy Minister urged officials of private health centers to provide free-of-charge services to those affected. He emphasized that, in these difficult days, they must stand by the victims and, as Muslims, fulfill their responsibilities with sincerity and faithfulness.
In response, officials from the private health centers welcomed the call and pledged their cooperation. They assured the Ministry that they would mobilize all possible resources, extend free-of-charge medical assistance, and spare no effort in supporting the victims of the disaster.
Notably, these private health centers are committed to providing all essential medical services — including checkups, general internal medicine, general surgery, medicines, and other necessary healthcare — entirely free of charge to the earthquake-affected people.
