Deputy Minister of Health Services Visits Nangarhar to Oversee Earthquake Relief Efforts

The Deputy Minister of Health Services, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, visited Nangarhar province, where he met with implementing partners and officials from several organizations.

The meeting was attended by the Director of Public Health in Nangarhar, Mawlawi Aminullah Sharif. During the meeting, the deputy minister urged all organizations to accelerate their activities and aid to support earthquake-affected victims.

A special committee has been established by The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) to coordinate the provision of primary healthcare services and monitor all health-related efforts, ensuring that the needs of affected citizens are met effectively. 

The MoPH also announced that in earthquake-affected provinces, reserves of medicines and health kits, along with mobile health centers, will be opened to provide comprehensive and timely care to patients and residents.
