12-Day OPV/IPV & Cold Chain In-Service Training Held for Vaccinators in Farah Province

The workshop aimed to strengthen the professional capacity of vaccinators, improve the quality of immunization services, enhance participants’ understanding of OPV and IPV vaccines, and ensure the proper management and maintenance of the cold chain system. It was attended by a number of vaccinators from health centers in the provincial center and districts of Farah Province.

The training workshop was concluded in the presence of the Director of Public Health of Farah Province, Dr. Mohammad Wali Ahmadzai, along with the technical representative of Relief International and a UNICEF representative.

Officials emphasized the regular administration of vaccines, maintaining vaccine quality, and providing effective healthcare services to children. They also highlighted the vital role of vaccinators in preventing vaccine-preventable diseases.
