Around 21 Tons of Substandard and Expired Medicines Safely Disposed of
Officials from the Monitoring and Inspection Directorate of the Afghanistan Food and Drug Authority safely disposed of approximately 21 tons of medicines collected from various districts of Kabul City during ongoing market inspections. The medicines were without the required legal documentation, substandard, or expired, and were destroyed in the presence of the designated committee and representatives of the relevant authorities.
