Deputy Minister for Health Services Visits Pewe Kando Hospital in Nangarhar to Assess Healthcare Services

During his official visit to Nangarhar Province, the Deputy Minister for Health Services of the MoPH, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, visited the 50-bed Pewe Kando Hospital in Rodat District.

The purpose of the visit was to assess the healthcare services provided at the hospital. During the visit, the Deputy Minister and his delegation inspected different departments, reviewed the performance of the staff, and gave necessary recommendations to the relevant officials to further improve the quality of services.

The Deputy Minister also stressed the importance of coordination between the Nangarhar Public Health Directorate, UNICEF, and implementing partners to ensure that hospital needs are addressed on time and that healthcare services are delivered in an effective, transparent, and standardized way.
