Over the past year, the Ministry of Public Health has taken major steps to strengthen the capacity of healthcare and administrative staff. These efforts focus on professional development, raising specialization levels, and ensuring the delivery of quality healthcare services. As part of the program, nearly 500 specialists have graduated from 26 different fields, while 1,000 new trainee doctors have been recruited to expand specialized services and provide citizens with accessible, high-quality care.

In addition, staff across healthcare and administrative sectors received extensive training and workshops, enhancing the skills of thousands and improving service quality.

The Ministry of Public Health is working to expand training, specialization, and capacity-building opportunities for Afghan healthcare workers both inside the country and abroad to ensure quality, standardized health services.
