The Ministry of Public Health Launches a Nationwide Awareness Campaign to Prevent Peart Disease, Using the Support of Dozens of Athletes to Deliver Key Health Messages in Public Spaces

Athletes took to the streets to engage the public, promoting practical ways to prevent cardiovascular disease through healthy lifestyle choices.

Dr. Mohammad Sami Karimi, Head of Communicable Disease Control at the Ministry of Public Health, said the campaign combined public events and athlete-led outreach to educate communities about heart disease prevention.

According to global health data, heart disease causes around 18 million deaths annually. Experts recommend regular exercise and a diet rich in fruits and vegetables to reduce this risk.
