The Ministry of Public Health, through the Environmental Health Directorate, conducted a public awareness campaign in several schools and childcare centers in Kabul’s 5th and 16th districts to prevent cholera.

During the campaign, 5,000 teachers and students received health guidelines and information on cholera prevention. In addition, 4,000 informational leaflets were distributed and explained in designated areas within schools and childcare centers to help prevent the spread of the disease and protect students’ health.

Furthermore, officials from the Environmental Health Directorate provided necessary recommendations to teachers and staff in various schools and childcare centers on maintaining proper hygiene and obtaining health cards, with the aim of ensuring a safe educational environment for students.
