NANGARHAR, AFGHANISTAN – A newly constructed, state-of-the-art conference hall was officially inaugurated at the Nangarhar Institute of Health Sciences, funded through a generous AFN 1 million grant. The facility is designed to host high-level academic conferences, seminars, and institutional gatherings

The inauguration ceremony drew the participation of senior provincial figures, including the Director of Public Health, Mawlawi Aminullah Sharif, Deputy Governor Azizullah Mustafa, and a number of high-ranking officials from various government entities.

In his address, Director Sharif extended profound gratitude to the ICRC for its strategic support and underscored the Directorate’s ongoing commitment to enhancing educational infrastructure and academic excellence within the province’s health sector. He further emphasized that the operational performance and academic rigor of the institute have seen notable improvements in recent months, with its graduates emerging as promising professionals equipped with substantial aptitude.

The facility is designed to host high-level academic conferences, seminars, and institutional gatherings, with a seating capacity for up to 100 participants.
