Deputy Minister of Healthcare Services convenes with the Governor of Panjshir Province

The Deputy Minister of Healthcare Services at the Ministry of Public Health under the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, accompanied by his delegation, convened with the Governor of Panjshir Province, Al-Haj Hafiz Mohammad Agha Hakim, during an official visit to the region.

This high-level meeting focused on enhancing the quality of healthcare services, initiating the construction of additional medical facilities, and fostering sustainable healthcare development across Panjshir Province.

Highlighting the objectives of the visit, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani remarked: “The primary aim of our mission to this province is to meticulously evaluate the existing healthcare infrastructure, devise viable solutions to address the prevailing challenges, and reinforce the delivery of essential medical services.”

The Governor of Panjshir, Hafiz Mohammad Agha Hakim, extended a warm welcome to the Ministry’s leadership, emphasizing the urgent need to resume the incomplete work on the provincial hospital. Furthermore, he presented a series of pragmatic recommendations to resolve the pressing healthcare issues in the province.

In response, the Deputy Minister pledged unwavering commitment to addressing the identified challenges and assured comprehensive consideration of the proposals and requests to facilitate tangible improvements in healthcare provision.
