The Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, His Excellency Dr. Qalandar Ebad, accompanied by a delegation, paid a visit to Badakhshan Province. During this visit, the inaugural International Program for the Prevention of Bone Fractures (SIGN) was launched for the first time in the province.

His Excellency Dr. Qalandar Ebad, Minister of Public Health, expressed his satisfaction with the commencement of this program at the provincial hospital of Badakhshan, hailing it as a significant achievement within the country's healthcare sector. Furthermore, he provided attendees with insights into the establishment of various essential health departments in Badakhshan province, affirming the Ministry of Public Health's dedication to swiftly expanding healthcare facilities to address the needs of the nation's citizens.

Additionally, Dr. Mohammad Ismail Wardak delivered comprehensive information during the meeting regarding the launch of the SIGN program and the Afghan device. Notably, this marks the inaugural instance of such a program being introduced in Badakhshan province, where Afghan orthopedic specialists employ innovative approaches in treating bone fractures.
