MoPH Minister Meets with Paktika Governor to Discuss Strengthening Healthcare Services
In his official office, the Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA), Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, met with the Governor of Paktika Province, Mawlawi Abdul Khaliq Abid.
Discussions focused on the health situation in Paktika Province, the delivery of healthcare services, and the healthcare needs of the local population.
The Governor of Paktika called for expanding and strengthening healthcare services in the province and stressed the importance of comprehensive support from the Ministry of Public Health in this regard.
The Minister of Public Health assured the Governor of the Ministry’s full support in strengthening healthcare services in Paktika Province and ensuring the provision of quality healthcare to the communities. He stated that the Ministry has initiated the construction of general hospitals in 318 districts across the country, with Paktika among them. He added that general hospitals will also be established in the districts of Paktika to ensure that local communities have access to quality healthcare services.
