MoPH and Ministry of Higher Education Sign MoU to Strengthen Scientific and Academic Cooperation

A significant agreement was signed between the Ministry of Public Health and the Ministry of Higher Education to further enhance scientific, research, educational, and technical cooperation.

The meeting convened for this purpose was attended by Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, Minister of Public Health; Sheikh ul-Hadith Neda Mohammad Nadeem, Minister of Higher Education; the deputy ministers of Public Health; and central directors from both ministries.

H.E Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, described the intellectual foundation as important for strengthening the Islamic system and noted that the memorandum would enhance the capacity of students and doctors, promote evidence-based research, and support the collection of accurate data.

 Sheikh ul-Hadith Neda Mohammad Nadeem, called the memorandum beneficial for the public and both Emirate institutions, emphasizing the need to train individuals who advance society and strengthen self-reliance in public health.

Deputy Minister for Policy and Health Promotion of the MoPH, Dr. Mohammad Hasan Ghiyasi, said the memorandum aims to expand scientific and academic cooperation, providing medical students and specialists with opportunities for practical training and research.

Notably, the meeting underscored the development of scientific, research, educational, and technical cooperation between the two institutions, and concluded with the ministers formally signing the memorandum of understanding.
