Inspection teams from the Operations Directorate and the General Directorate of Specialist Training were officially dispatched to the specialized hospitals of Badakhshan, Takhar, Kunduz, and Balkh provinces to assess challenges faced by trainers and trainee doctors and identify gaps in the specialist training program.

The teams met with hospital leadership, training officers, department heads, specialist trainers, and trainee doctors to discuss standardizing the specialist training program. They emphasized aligning the program with the objectives of the General Directorate of Specialist Training and the importance of curriculum and logbook implementation, bedside teaching, morning reports and visits, and case presentations in enhancing doctors’ knowledge and skills.

Notably, this process can also be applied in all specialized hospitals in the capital and provinces, as well as in affiliated specialized centers (military and private specialized hospitals).
