Key Medical and Non-Medical Equipment Provided to Badghis Provincial Hospital
This support was provided by UNICEF to strengthen health services at Badghis Provincial Hospital and was handed over to the relevant authorities.
Items worth over $70,000—including an X-ray machine, emergency kits, patient stretchers, wheelchairs, a surgical table, and a modern autoclave—were handed over to Badghis Provincial Hospital officials.
Badghis Provincial Public Health officials thanked UNICEF for its support, stating that the supplies will enhance diagnostic and treatment services, lower patient readmissions, and strengthen infection control.
