This monitoring was conducted by the public health supervision and inspection directorates of these provinces. As a result, within one month, 20 tons of expired medicines and foodstuffs were collected in Balkh province, 25 tons of expired medicines in Herat province, and 120 kilograms of expired foodstuffs in Paktia province, all of which were transferred to central warehouses for destruction.
