Enhancing Diagnostic Skills: Five-Day Training on Monkeypox, CCHF, and Dengue Fever Empowers 34 Medical Technologists

A five-day training program titled "Laboratory Diagnosis of Monkeypox, Crimean-Congo Haemorrhagic Fever, and Dengue Fever" was held for 34 medical technologists.

The training was organized by the Central Laboratories Department under the Ministry of Public Health and aimed to improve the diagnostic skills of professionals from central laboratories, the Infectious Diseases Treatment Hospital, and regional laboratories. It was carried out in partnership with the World Health Organization at the Central Laboratories Department.

Dr. Masood Dilsouz, Director of Central Laboratories, said that experienced teachers led both practical and classroom sessions. He emphasized that participants are now better prepared to use the knowledge they gained in their jobs. Dr. Dilsouz also mentioned that similar training programs will be held in the future to further improve the skills of medical technologists.

These training programs are important for helping medical technologists develop the skills needed to diagnose and manage diseases properly, which strengthens the healthcare system overall.
