Technical Meeting Held on the Development of the Electronic Health Record (EHR/EMR) System

The meeting was chaired by Mufti Abdul Quddus Hashimi, Director General of Monitoring and Inspection of the Ministry of Public Health, and attended by members of the technical team and representatives of the World Health Organization (WHO).

During the meeting, participants discussed the network, technical equipment, and infrastructure requirements for the pilot implementation of the EHR/EMR system, along with procurement processes and other key technical aspects of its deployment, and shared their views and recommendations.

The Director General of Monitoring and Inspection thanked the World Health Organization for its continued technical support and emphasized the importance of strengthening this cooperation. He stated that the modernization and development of health information systems in line with international standards remains a priority for the MoPH, and that technical support in this area is highly valuable.
