The renovation works of Al-Shifa Hospital, under the Ministry of Public Health, are being carried out by the National Development Corporation in a swift, transparent, and standard-compliant manner. The project will be completed and officially commissioned for use within the coming months.

The hospital is being constructed in accordance with international standards at an estimated cost of around 4 billion Afghanis. Upon completion, it will be one of the largest and most advanced hospitals in the country. In addition to providing advanced medical facilities, it will also serve as an important center for practical and specialized training of new doctors.

Furthermore, with the commencement of this hospital’s operations, patients who currently travel abroad for the diagnosis and treatment of their illnesses will have access to diagnostic and treatment services within the country.

It is worth noting that the Ministry of Public Health remains committed to expanding quality healthcare infrastructure nationwide and continues its efforts to establish modern healthcare facilities that will further improve access to high-quality, standard, and sustainable health services for the people.
