 The checks focused on pricing, preventing hoarding and monopolies, and ensuring the quality of medicines and health products. Several pharmacies were examined, and six were shut down for operating without authorisation, lacking a technical officer, or selling expired medicines.

The Ministry has urged all pharmacies to follow health regulations and comply fully with health laws and procedures.
