Ministry of Public Health Signs $5,713,622 Contract with ARDHO Organization to Strengthen and Expand Health Services in Badghis Province

The agreement was signed for a period of over one year and will provide primary and specialized healthcare services to all residents of Badghis Province through more than 400 health facilities, including district hospitals, basic and comprehensive health centers, mobile teams, and other outreach services.

Officials from the Ministry of Public Health said the agreement was signed to improve the quality of healthcare services, increase access, and reduce public health issues. Once implemented, it will provide primary and specialized healthcare services to all residents of Badghis Province and create job opportunities for 690 people across various health sectors.

Representatives of the ARDHO organization expressed confidence that the project will be successfully implemented over a period of one year, in accordance with all established standards, while giving special attention to meeting the healthcare needs of the people.
