Officials of the Turkish charity foundation stated that their goal is to provide voluntary treatment for children with heart conditions in Afghanistan and to offer some primary healthcare services.

His Excellency Jalali thanked the foundation for its cooperation with Afghanistan’s health sector and said, “The Ministry of Public Health aims to provide more professional training to its staff and deliver effective healthcare services based on the people’s needs.” He added that strengthening the capacity of healthcare workers is a top priority and instructed curative medicine officials to coordinate with the foundation to enhance professional and technical skills.

Officials of the Turkish charity foundation pledged continued cooperation and said they will send professional staff to Afghanistan to support the Ministry of Public Health in specialized training programs.

The Ministry of Public Health welcomes all organizations that help strengthen healthcare services and improve the health of the Afghan people.
