The Kapisa Provincial Public Health Directorate Monitoring Team conducted a series of inspections across the province this week to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Shops inspected: 36, resulting in the seizure of around 120 kilograms of expired food products.

Health facilities checked: 10, with 7 found closed due to non-compliance.

Laboratories monitored: 7, of which 5 were closed for failing to meet operational standards.

Dental clinics inspected: 3, all were closed.

Doctors’ association monitored: closed following inspection.

Ongoing Oversight: The Directorate continues nightly inspections of health centers and pharmacies throughout Kapisa Province. Several facilities have been shut down due to deficiencies or missing legal documentation, reflecting the Directorate’s commitment to public health safety and regulatory enforcement.
