Inspections of  Private Health Centers in Khost Province

A delegation led by Alhajj Dr. Ahmad Khandan, Director of Private Sector Coordination and Regulation of the Ministry of Public Health, initiated the monitoring process in Khost Province and inspected several private health centers.

Afterward, the designated delegation began inspections of private health centers in the center and districts of Khost Province. The purpose of this process is to assess the condition of private health centers, improve private sector services, evaluate documents and licenses, and encourage those health centers operating without a license to obtain proper licensing in accordance with legal procedures (Regulations 916 and 1084).

The delegation assessed 379 private health centers across the center and districts of Khost Province. Among them, 131 centers were found to be operating without a license, and written commitments were obtained from 155 centers to acquire their licenses within one month.

Additionally, the delegation provided the health center officials with necessary recommendations regarding adherence to regulations and the process of obtaining their licenses.

The monitoring team appreciated the active cooperation of local authorities, district-level health officials, and the staff of the health centers during the process. A collective commitment was also expressed to improve the overall health situation within the private sector.
