In his office at the Ministry of Public Health, the Deputy Minister for Health Services met with representatives of UNICEF

The meeting aimed at ensuring the efficient provision of quality-assured medicines to all health facilities across both central and provincial levels, under the close supervision of a jointly constituted technical committee, thereby ensuring that the process is implemented with the utmost transparency and accountability.

Furthermore, the Deputy Minister for Healthcare Services emphasized the importance of utilizing domestically produced, high-quality pharmaceutical products that possess international certification and have been formally endorsed by the Ministry of Public Health, thereby preventing the entry of substandard medicines into the country.
