The monitoring and inspection team of the Takhar Public Health Directorate, accompanied by the provincial Public Health Director, Dr. Mohammad Wali Ahmadzai, conducted oversight of various aspects of the public and private health sectors in the Dasht-e-Qala and Baharak districts of the province.

During this monitoring, the officials inspected the work activities of health workers in hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies. As a result, necessary instructions were issued to correct and regulate illegal signboards and to prevent unprofessional practices. Furthermore, several clinics that were operating in violation of medical standards and regulations were closed.

 Additionally, more than half a ton of expired and substandard medicines, collected by the monitoring team, were destroyed in the presence of the delegation.
