The opening ceremony was held in the presence of Mawlawi Bakht-ur-Rahman Sharafat, Deputy Minister of Finance and Administrative Affairs; Dr. Mohammad Hassan Ghiasy, Deputy Minister of Health Promotion and Policy; Alhaj Sheikh Mohammad Taher Halim, General Director of Chief of Staff; several central directors of the Ministry; advisors to the Chief of Staff; representatives from the World Health Organization (WHO); and other relevant officials. This workshop marks a significant step forward in the formulation of the national strategy for health services.

During his address, Dr. Mohammad Hassan Ghiasy emphasized that the National Health Strategy is a top priority for the Ministry of Public Health. He stated, “This strategy serves as a clear roadmap for the balanced development of health services. It provides a foundation for the effective allocation of resources and addressing the healthcare needs of the population.” He called on all participants to expedite the finalization of the strategy, so that practical and prioritized actions can be taken based on available resources.
