Asadabad, Kunar – A monitoring operation was recently conducted in Asadabad, the capital of Kunar province, targeting both private healthcare and non-health sectors.

The initiative, led by the Monitoring and Inspection Department of the Kunar Provincial Public Health Directorate, resulted in the identification and collection of 64 types of expired medicines and 844 kilograms of substandard food items. All confiscated items were transferred to the central warehouse for proper disposal.

During the monitoring process, relevant officials received clear recommendations aimed at improving quality and ensuring compliance with regulations. Authorities further warned that failure to adhere to these standards would result in legal consequences.
