Afghan Minister of Public Health Calls for Enhanced Healthcare Services for Children in Learning Centres

The Afghan Minister of Public Health, Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Social Affairs from the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.

In this discussion, Deputy Minister Alhaj Sheikh Abd al-Barr, accompanied by the Director of Learning Centres, deliberated on the enhancement and broadening of healthcare services available to children residing in these centres.

Minister Noor Jalal Jalali underscored the critical need for the expansion of healthcare provisions within kindergarten and asserted that additional facilities would be established in health centres to better serve the nation’s vulnerable and underprivileged children.

Furthermore, Minister Jalali indicated his intention to issue directives to both central and provincial authorities, urging them to improve and prioritise healthcare services specifically tailored to the needs of children in daycare centres.
