The Central Directorate for the Enforcement and Inspection of Health Laws, operating under the Ministry of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, conducted a rigorous oversight operation within the private healthcare sector in the Karta-e-Parwan area of Kabul’s second district.

Consequently, 12 clinics and medical practices were closed due to their failure to produce valid documentation and their engagement in unlawful activities. Moreover, this inspection led to the confiscation of a significant quantity of expired and substandard medicines. Several medical practices had their signage removed for corrective action, and stringent measures were instituted to curb the imposition of exorbitant fees and the issuance of coded prescriptions.
