The Ministry of Public Health has commenced the rehabilitation of four health centres in Nuristan Province at a cost of over AFN 16 million.

The rehabilitation work launched in the presence of All-Haj Qari Zain-ul-Abidin Abid, Governor of Nuristan; All-Haj Dr Samiullah Abid Niazi, Director of Public Health in Nuristan Province; Mawlawi Naqibullah Noori, Head of the Provincial Hospital; and several other officials.

The rehabilitation of these health centres will help create a suitable environment for the provision of healthcare services and improve access to healthcare for local residents.
