MoPH Holds Guidance Session for Central Hospital Officials on Duties and Patient Care

The Ministry of Public Health’s Directorate of Preaching and Guidance held a session for officials of central hospitals, providing guidance on the proper performance of their duties, adherence to administrative procedures, and appropriate and respectful conduct toward patients and other service users.

The meeting was attended by Qari Abdul Wali Siddiqi, Deputy Minister for Finance and Administration Affairs; Mawlawi Mohammad Qasim Haqqani, Director of Preaching and Guidance; several directors from the Ministry’s central offices; and hospital officials.

In his remarks, the Deputy Minister urged hospital officials to perform their duties with diligence, accountability, and integrity, report to work on time, and closely monitor the delivery of healthcare services

He emphasized the importance of treating patients and members of the public with respect and courtesy and responding promptly to their concerns.

Meanwhile, Mawlawi Mohammad Qasim Haqqani highlighted the importance of providing healthcare services in accordance with Islamic teachings. He noted that serving the public is a great responsibility and that treating patients with kindness and compassion, understanding their concerns, and serving them with sincerity are among the key principles of Islam.
