MoPH Minister Lays Foundation Stone for Shamulzayi District General Hospital in Zabul Province

During his visit to Zabul Province, H.E. Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, Minister of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Shamulzayi District General Hospital, with an estimated cost of nearly 48 million Afghanis.

A ceremony was held to mark the occasion, attended by the Minister of Public Health and his accompanying delegation, the Shamulzayi District Governor, local officials, tribal elders, and residents of the area.

In his speech, the Minister of Public Health called on the contracted company to ensure that the construction work is carried out with high quality and in accordance with professional standards. He also urged the company to complete the project within the specified timeframe and in line with the terms and conditions of the contract.

It is worth mentioning that the construction of this hospital is scheduled to be completed within 18 months.
